Want to rent an apartment for Carnival 2011 in Salvador, and experience Brazil’s best? I'm located right here in Porto da Barra (a beachside Salvador, Bahia neighborhood for those of you who aren't familiar with the city) and I have a number of apartments, flats, and houses listed below. Most of these rentals are in Barra, the best possible place anyone that wants to enjoy Carnival might hope to stay. The Barra-Ondina Carnival circuit is the one preferred by a great majority of revelers as it goes along the coast where you can get some relief from the heat of the partying thanks to the ocean breezes. The Campo Grande Carnival circuit isn't that far away either, & you can walk there in about 20 minutes or take a cab & get there in 5.


I'm a licensed realtor ("CRECI" stands for "Conselho Regional dos Corretores de Imóveis", or "Regional Council of Real Estate Brokers”), and manage many of the rental properties you see listed below, so you can be assured of comfortable accommodations & good value for your money.


Carnival 2011 runs from mar 03 to mar 09. The rates you see below are for those dates - though they are not yet confirmed - there will be a note to that effect as the individual owners confirm. There won't be any discounts for shorter stays, though some owners will allow an additional day or two at no extra charge. The list of Carnival apts is pretty comprehensive, but it's organized in decreasing price points so that you can shoot down to the apts in your range & shop away. The location is perfect in that it's a block away from the beach & therefore no more than 5 to 7 min from where the Carnival route starts. We've also got a bunch of grocery stores & the Bompreço supermarket close by & they're open through Carnival. The mall & the supermarket are just a couple more minutes away, & so is transportation to anywhere in Salvador.
