Wind surfing, surfing (no rocks), paddle ball, sun bathing and relaxing. Flamengo is the best beach right on the outskirts of Salvador. 40km to Porto do Barra, only one bus is necessary to get to Barra and it stops right in front of the house. 3 floors, 2 patios, 3 bedroom townhouse, 3 1/2 bathrooms with maids quarters, living room and dining room with seating for eight people. 200m2, 2 verandas with complete unobstructed ocean view and private access to beach. Small swimming pool, bbq, and private parking. Complete kitchen, TV, DVD, stereo, microwave, etc. Small supermarket is 1/2 block away, internet cafe and some restaurants are only 1km from house. Bigger super market and more restaurants only 4km. Very safe and friendly area.

This spacious house in Porto da Barra (suitable for a large party) sits directly across from and overlooks the sea (the beach is 50 meters away), and it is positioned some 200 meters from the beginning of the Carnival parade at the Farol (lighthouse) da Barra.
Two of the three bedrooms are set up with large double beds, and the third is set up with four singles. There is additional sleeping space on another small bed and the two sofas in the living room (pictured directly below).
Carnival is right down the street!

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex apartment is located across the street from the beach in the neighborhood of Ondina. It has a private pool and deck on the upper level (great for intimate parties) as well as access to a larger rooftop pool open to the entire condo.
The apartment is air-conditioned, has two 20" TVs (with cable), and comes with maid service included. The building has a laundromat and a hair salon.
There are also two restaurants in the building, one of which was voted "Salvador's Best French Restaurant" by Veja Magazine.
